All Biotec dental implants are made of titanium alloy Ti 6AI 4V ELI (Grade 23). This alloy has been proven to be the ideal material for implants, mainly because of its ability to integrate almost completely with the bone. It is also biodegradable and offers superior mechanical qualities such as strength and endurance, as well as chemical stability.
Multiple studies have shown that the osseotintegration rate of titanium dental implants is directly related to their composition and surface roughness. Moreover, the characteristics of the implant surface also influence the healing and growth of tissue adjacent to the implant surface.
For this reason, we use the most advanced technique available – resorbable blast media (RBM) – to treat the surface of our dental implants.
This surface treatment technique uses calcium phosphate, which is a biocompatible material, to increase the surface area of implants and provide greater bone-to-implant contact.
